Painting on location from morning till sunset can often be exhausting. I am constantly trying to talk myself out of these long days.
Then evening comes and with it COLOR.
All my excuses for leaving forgotten. The soreness I felt moments before after standing the whole day…gone. During these fleeing moments…everything else in life…blurs.

The seascape is absolutely magical. I love the way you use color and texture that says “light!”, “wave”, “sky” but it’s just paint. Amazing. I can’t wait until Sunday and it looks like we’ll have nice weather for that first workshop session.
