The workshop was incredible. We saw your demonstrations and were ready to head out to the woods with our sweet tea to accomplish ours all the while we were carrying our gear and scratching red bugs in the strangest places! It kept us moving and I saw some of the best pictures ever! We love your joyous attitude and humor trying to help us Tennessee ladies and it is a challenge, but we can feed you well.
You are welcomed back in Tennessee.

Nellie,
Thank you for the nice comments and yes I was fed well.

I encourage anyone who wants to be inspired, encouraged or empowered to come to this workshop. All I can say is Wow!
I will make sure I order Elio's paints and supplies list ( Classic Paints) as they are not to be reproduced by any other brand.

I will bring my " redneck soltek" back
( Painting on Student grade easel with a stool, a piece of big plyboard for a palette and a 20x 30 " art board"

Ha...Tayna you are the best. Can't wait to see you...

Edit. Although I love Classic paints any "good" brand of paint will work.

Hello Elio,

I can't believe it's been almost a month since your workshop in Leiper's Fork, TN. Wow...did I learn so much from you. Your style of painting is what I've been searching for. And your use of color is fabulous. I'm glad you graced us with your giftings. We're looking forward to your return in October.

As I look over your blog, I noticed you officially started it about one year ago... June 12, 2007. This June 12th is Nancy (my precious wife) and my 4th Anniversary. Thanks for helping us celebrate our marriage and the joys of painting. Outside of God, Nancy inspried me to start painting again back in the fall of 2005. I had not done so for over 30 years. Elio, I have no doubt God put you in my path to take me to a new level I've never been to before.

You're an excellent artist, great teacher and very kind person. I pray God continues to bless you and your work.

Wayne

P.S. Thanks for posting my picture on your blog with regard to the Leiper's Fork workshop. I'm the guy in blue painting creekside.

Wayne,
Thank you for such kind words. I Look forward to coming back and next time you need to get your wife to come visit for an evening. You painted some very nice paintings during your stay and hopefully next time you will have more time. Keep painting!
